The Kind Side

To look on the bright side is to find good things in challenging situations. Working in health, receiving health care, or supporting a patient can be challenging. Small acts of kindness help improve experiences. This podcast features conversations with patients, carers and health care workers that look on the kind side of health. We’ll also help with practical ideas for small acts of kindness so you can help cultivate kindness too!

Conversations on Aboriginal Country
The Kind Side was recorded on Aboriginal Country within Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) hospitals and community health centres (NSW Australia). Indigenous peoples are the original storytellers. This is sunrise at a local beach. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of these lands and waters, and pay our deep respects to Elders past, present and future. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal people.
Learning from Lived Experiences
We are deeply grateful to the people who shared their stories with us so that we can learn. We also acknowledge the lived experiences and wisdom of our podcast community.
